Jack Carter was an American comedian, actor, and television host, born on June 24, 1922, in Brooklyn, New York, and passed away on June 28, 2015, in Beverly Hills, California. He started his career in entertainment as a stand-up comedian in the 1940s, performing in nightclubs and on television. In the 1950s and 1960s, he appeared in several films and television series, including "The Thin Man" and "The Colgate Comedy Hour." He also had his own television show, "The Jack Carter Show," which aired from 1960 to 1961. Carter continued to perform throughout his career, including in the films "History of the World, Part I" and "Rabbit Test." He was also a frequent guest on game shows and talk shows. In addition to his entertainment career, Carter was active in philanthropic causes, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Children's Diabetes Foundation.
